Our Story

Grown from Experience, Built with Purpose

Go to Grow grew from years of successful horticulture projects at Trent View College. Students developed confidence, communication and employability skills through practical growing experiences — and now they're sharing that with schools across the region.

The Beginning

Go to Grow is a student-led social enterprise born from the belief that growing plants grows people. At Trent View College, part of the Wellspring Academy Trust, horticulture programmes demonstrated that hands-on growing experiences transform young people — building confidence, communication and genuine employability skills.

The question became: how do we share this with every school? The answer was Go to Grow — seasonal growing subscriptions delivered directly to schools, packed by students, supported by student-created guides, and powered by genuine enterprise ambition.

We are not a gardening company. We are not a charity. We are a student enterprise that happens to use seeds as our vehicle — because we know that when a young person plants something and watches it grow, something grows in them too.
